Swiss National Day

Since Protected content , the first of August has been celebrated as Swiss National Day. The date refers to a historic alliance concluded in Protected content the three cantons of Uri, Schwyz and Unterwalden.
This alliance was to become the focal point around which the Switzerland of today was built over the next Protected content .

I have been to Montreux to visit the legendary statue of Freddie Mercury and Queen studio . Not to mention home to the biggest jazz festival currently running as I'm writing this post.

Lastly , the CHF currency is not money , it's a piece of art ! If you ever get your hand on some cash.

The Swiss Club in Cairo is having a little gathering that will start at 7:00 p.m. with a speech from the ambassador then 8:00 p.m. the open buffet will start .
