Guided Walk to Æbelø Island, Northern Tip of Funen (Fyn)

Upon the lovely suggestion from our Aarhus community, here the invitation for a guided walk to Æbelø!

Visit of Æbelø is only possible with an official guide, who has the permit of the owner. Therefore we are joining an official open group of a max 25 persons. Our guide Daniel has extensive local knowledge and guides through the low water at low tide to and from Æbelø. Along the way, he'll tell you all the amazing stories of the island.

Æbelø is a paradise for birds and animals, and the deserted island has developed into a beautiful nature reserve on top of Funen. Most of the island is covered in forest, but there are also open areas, where you can see deer or wild sheep grazing.

- Bring all the necessities for a full day in nature. This includes food, water, waste bags, shoes for the trip, etc.
