The Gumusluk Festival has begun, and it is all jazz this week at the Gümüslük Festival centre on the beach, where the stage is framed by the incredible backdrop of the twilight and sea.
On Tuesday 22 July and Wednesday 23 July the festival swings into full pitch with the Adem Gülşen with his backing musicians, and then the İpek Göztepe Quartet. On Friday 25 July the Suda concerts will host ÜÇ, the trio of Volkan Öktem, Çağrı Sertel, and Alp Ersönmez, well known artists of jazz in Istanbul.
So which night shall we go to? I vote for Wednesday 23, but you're welcome to call for company on another night.
By the way- Festival's classical music concerts start on Sunday 27 July!
