This season, Verdi's Nabucco returns to the Deutsche Oper Berlin, a monumental work that combines passion, power, and political intrigue. Premiered in Protected content , this dramma lirico tells the story of Nabucco, King of Babylon, whose pride leads to his downfall and the destruction of his empire. With a libretto by Temistocle Solera, the opera explores themes of faith, freedom, and the consequences of tyranny.
